There was a serious crash in east Belfast this morning

Three people have been taken to hospital following separate road crashes in Northern Ireland in the past 24 hours.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance service said one person was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital after a crash on Cyprus Avenue in east Belfast at about 10:20 BST.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland ( PSNI) said there were also single-vehicle crashes in Armagh and Glenarm in County Antrim.

The police are appealing for information.

Armagh crash

There was a single-vehicle collision on the Moy Road in Armagh in the early hours of this morning

A single-vehicle collision happened on the Moy Road in Armagh.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said they received a report of the incident at 12:40 BST.

"Officers along with colleagues from other emergency services attended and one person was taken to hospital for treatment for their injuries."

The Moy Road between Drumcairn Road and Cabragh Road was closed earlier but has since reopened.

Glenarm crash

On Wednesday, a motorcyclist was taken to hospital after a single-vehicle collision in Glenarm.

The PSNI received a report on Wednesday at 21:55 BST.

The Coast Road, which was closed between Dickeystown Road and Drumnagreah Road, has since reopened.
