Man in 80s dies three days after village crash

An investigation has begun after a man in his 80s died following a crash between two cars.

A white Skoda Superb and a black Mercedes Benz crashed on Plough Road in Great Bentley, Essex, just before 20:00 BST on Friday.

The Skoda driver was taken to hospital for treatment but died in hospital on Monday, police said.

Officers have urged anyone who might have information about the incident, or has relevant dashcam footage, to come forward.
