Teen raped woman in beachside toilet, court hears
BBCA teenager raped a woman in a beachside portable toilet after offering her a lift home on his e-bike, a court has heard.
Mohammed Abdullah, from West Drayton, west London, attacked the woman on Undercliff Drive, Bournemouth, shortly before 02:00 BST on 6 July 2025, Bournemouth Crown Court was told.
He told police the sex was consensual, the jury heard.
The 19-year-old denies charges of rape and assault by penetration.
Mark Eldridge, prosecuting, said the complainant had been drinking and was heading home after being asked to leave a bar.
She met a group of men who told her Abdullah would give her a lift, the barrister said.
A couple walking along the seafront saw the pair riding the e-bike and then saw Abdullah carrying the woman in his arms, Eldridge added.
The court was told that one of the witnesses called out: "What are you doing with her?"
Eldridge said the woman recalled: "I remember being dragged into the portable loo at this point, the door being shut and locked."
He said she was attacked and later told police: "The next thing I knew he was gone. I exited the toilet. I took my shoes off so I could run. I saw him riding back to his friends."
The trial continues.
