A woman has appeared in court charged with attempted murder after a man was found with suspected stab wounds in a Lincolnshire village.

Officers were called to a property on Dixon Place, Dunholme, at about 20:00 BST on 1 April.

The man was taken to hospital where he was described as being in a critical condition.

Mia Mcilwee, 40, of Dixon Place, Dunholme, appeared before Lincoln Crown Court on Tuesday. No plea was entered and she remanded into custody until her next court appearance on 26 June.

The case was provisionally listed for a five-day trial at Lincoln Crown Court beginning on 28 September.
