Teenager seriously injured in stabbing at flats

A teenager was left seriously injured in a stabbing at flats in Bradford, police have said.

The 19-year-old man was found by emergency services who were called to the communal area of the flats on Mannville Terrace at about 23:19 BST on Thursday.

West Yorkshire Police believe he was chased into the building just before the attack and the suspects, who were wearing face masks, ran off towards Morley Street.

Anyone who saw the men - one who was wearing dark clothing and one wearing a grey tracksuit - is being urged to contact police.

Det Insp Dan Townend of Bradford CID said: "We are conducting a number of enquiries today to establish more detail about the circumstances of this assault on a victim with weapons.

"The assault left the victim with a number of serious injuries and it is clearly important we identify and arrest the persons responsible as swiftly as possible."

Police are asking anyone who saw or has footage of people matching the suspect's descriptions entering the building at about 23:10 BST and fleeing at around 23.30 BST to get in touch.
