Controlled explosion after device found in garden
Qays Najm/BBCA controlled explosion has been carried out following the discovery of an unexploded ordnance device in a garden.
Norfolk Police said it was found at an address on Dowson Road, Norwich, just after 13:15 BST.
A 100-metre (328ft) cordon was put in place, with various roads closed while the object was assessed.
The Army's Explosive Ordnance Disposal team moved the device and carried out an explosion at a site off Drayton High Road, at about 16:30.
The cordon has since been removed and residents have been told to return to their homes.
