A46 shut over crash on northbound carriageway

The A46 in Warwickshire has been shut due to a crash on the northbound carriageway.

Emergency services were called to the scene between the A452 Ashow exit and the A45 Stonebridge Highway to Festival Island, Baginton in the early hours of Friday.

The road is shut between the A435 Oversley Mill roundabout and B439 Salford Priors Roundabout.

National Highways has asked drivers travelling on the southbound carriageway to follow diversion routes. The northbound carriageway is expected to reopen at 11:00 BST after police have completed investigation work.
