Man due in court accused of antisemitic attack

A man is due in court after a Jewish man was assaulted and called a "baby killer" in an antisemitic attack.

Shafiq Rahman, 48, of Lismore Park, Slough, was charged with one count of racially or religiously aggravated common assault, racially or religiously aggravated fear or provocation of violence by words and criminal damage, Thames Valley Police said.

The charges relate to an incident that happened in Slough on Monday.

Rahman has been remanded in custody to appear at Reading Magistrates' Court later.
