Smoke warning over scrap metal and electrical fire
DWFRSA large smoke plume has spread across parts of east Dorset after a fire broke out at a recycling centre overnight.
Firefighters were called to the site at Candys Lane in Corfe Mullen, near the A31, shortly after 02:30 BST.
Ten fire engines, along with water carriers, are at the scene of the blaze involving scrap metal and electrical items, with crews working hard to bring it under control, Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue said.
The fire service said the fire was causing a "significant smoke plume" in the area and those living nearby were advised to keep windows and doors closed.
