Two teens in crown court charged with park murder

Two teenagers have appeared at crown court charged with the murder of a 21-year-old in a city park.

Radwan Shakur, from Wembley, north-west London, was found with stab wounds in Central Park, Chelmsford, at about 19:00 BST on Friday. He died at the scene.

On Tuesday, Romeo Mfinda, 18, of Widford Chase, Chelmsford, and a 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named because of his age, both appeared at the city's crown court via a video link.

They are both also accused of possession with intent to supply cannabis and possession of a knife in a public place. They were remanded in custody until the next hearing on 4 August.
