A convicted sex offender who was jailed for 22 years has had his sentence extended after another victim came forward.

Brian Guest from Aldridge in Walsall was jailed in 2024 for multiple rapes and sexual assaults against women and children spanning nearly four decades, which police called "an appalling sequence of abuse".

Following his conviction, it emerged another woman had been subjected to Guest's offending when she was child.

In connection, the 67-year-old was found guilty of indecent assault of a girl under the age of 14, at a court hearing in July and has since had his sentence extended by two years and six months.

The sentence was handed down at Wolverhampton Crown Court on 17 August.
