Boy, 17, and two men die in crash on country lane

Friends of the two men and teenage boy who died gathered at the scene on Monday to pay their respects

Two men and a teenage boy have died in a crash near Rotherham.

The 17-year-old boy and the men, aged 21 and 23, were killed when the grey Seat Cupra Leon they were travelling in left Denaby Lane at 23:40 BST on Saturday.

South Yorkshire Police said another 17-year-old boy in the car was taken to hospital with minor injuries. No other vehicles were involved.

The Leon was travelling towards Kilnhurst at the time and police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with dascham footage to come forward.
