Man critical after motorbike in crash with double-decker bus

A 37-year-old biker is in a critical condition after he was involved in a crash with a double-decker bus in Angus.

The collision, involving a blue Yamaha motorbike, happened on the A92 between Arbroath and Inverkeilor - at the junction for Cauldcots - at about 21:00 on Friday.

The man was taken to Ninewells Hospital and the road reopened at about 05:00 on Saturday.

Sgt Brian McEwen appealed to any witnesses or anyone who may have dashcam footage to contact police.
