A man has been jailed for 10 years after admitting serious sexual offences involving children.

Marc Gothorp, 45, from Lincoln, was sentenced at Lincoln Crown Court on Friday after pleading guilty to multiple charges, including arranging or facilitating the commission of the rape of a child under 13 in October 2025.

He also admitted making indecent images of children, with more than 1,850 in the most serious category, as well as distributing images.

Gothorp was also made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order.
