Youths allegedly seen killing birds with catapult
Getty/ Heritage ImagesThree wild birds have been killed in Worcestershire after three youths were allegedly seen using catapults to shoot at the animals.
The incident happened near the canal in Kidderminster town centre on 4 June.
Responding police officers found two ducks and one goose dead at the scene, while three youths were searched and found to have catapults and metal ball bearings on them.
The items were seized by the officers and an investigation has been launched under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.
