A video of national security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir taunting detained members of an intercepted international flotilla caused shock and revulsion amongst many abroad and some soul searching within Israel. As the country fights wars on many fronts and faces elections later in the year, we take a look at the state of Israel. We hear from the United States, where support for Israel amongst Republicans is waning. One former adviser to Mr Ben-Gvir tells us the era of searching for peace is over, and former Prime Minster Ehud Olmert says he worries for the soul of his nation.
