Boston United picked up their first win of the National League season with victory at Solihull Moors.

The Pilgrims, who were beaten 1-0 at home by Aldershot on the opening day of the campaign last weekend, took the lead in the 29th minute through Lennon Wheeldon.

Ken Aboh doubled Boston's advantage three minutes after half-time before Tom Cursons saw a late penalty saved by Solihull keeper Max Metcalfe.

Solihull, who began the season with a 5-2 defeat away to Harrogate, remain without a point from their opening two matches.
