Levi Amantchi's first goal for Kidderminster Harriers sealed a narrow win against Eastleigh at Aggborough and their first points following promotion to the National League.

The Harriers, promoted back to the fifth tier via the play-offs in May after a two-year absence, created a string of chances before Gateshead loanee Amantchi fired a 78th-minute winner.

Kidderminster defender Reece Hall and new loan signing Callum Stewart both saw first-half efforts deflected wide and the latter was denied by Eastleigh goalkeeper Nick Townsend shortly before the interval.

The home side continued to make most of the running in the second half and Ethan Moore's far-post effort hit the woodwork before Amantchi slid home a low cross from Stewart with 12 minutes left.
