Andre Brooks scored on his debut as Norwich cruised to victory over visitors MK Dons in the first round of the Carabao Cup.
The Canaries made a blistering start at Carrow Road, pouncing on some sloppy defending to grab an early two-goal advantage.
Mohamed Toure was put clean through by Kenny McLean after the Dons had made a hash of their first attempt to play out from the back and blasted home with just 40 seconds on the clock.
The hosts then made it 2-0 after seven minutes as Toure picked Cohen Bramall's pocket and made his way into the area before picking out Anis Ben Slimane who calmly found the corner.
It was a stroll in the sun for Norwich and they were out of sight after 43 minutes as Ben Chrisene's effort was deflected home.
The Dons wasted a glorious chance to reduce the arrears early in the second period when Nathaniel Mendez-Laing's penalty was saved by Vladan Kovacevic after a foul on Callum Paterson. But from the resulting corner the ball found its way to Ryan Wintle who volleyed home in the 56th minute.
Norwich's response was swift, however as, just before the hour mark, more poor defending allowed Brooks to run through and coolly slip the ball home.
Substitute Jacob Wright rattled the crossbar with a powerful effort late on as Norwich completed a comfortable win.
