Summary

High pressure centred over the north Atlantic will continue to bring a generally north to northwesterly flow and largely settled weather. However there will be strong winds and drizzle at times across some northern waters.

Strong winds warnings are in effect in the following locations:
  • From Cape Wrath to Rattray Head including Orkney
  • Rattray Head to Berwick on Tweed
  • Great Ormes Head to the Mull of Galloway
  • Isle of Man
  • Lough Foyle to Carlingford Lough
  • The Mull of Galloway to Mull of Kintyre including the Firth of Clyde and the North Channel
  • Shetland Isles
  • For Coastal areas up to 60 nautical miles from Lerwick, Shetland
