Low Norwegian Basin 996 at 1800 on Tuesday moving away northeast by midday on Wednesday. High Iceland 1017 at 1800 on Tuesday dissipating by midday on Wednesday. New low expected 150 miles southwest of Iceland 982 at midday on Wednesday expected Hebrides 986 by midday on Thursday, then expected Fisher 989 by midday on Friday. New low expected just north of Iceland 996 at midday on Thursday, this losing its identity by midday on Friday. Strong winds are expected in all areas except Thames, Dover and Wight on Tuesday evening, with gales expected in FitzRoy. Gales are also expected in Shannon by late Wednesday, with strong winds in all other areas. The gales are expected to spread into Sole, Lundy, Fastnet and Irish Sea during Thursday, but are expected to die out in FitzRoy. The gales are expected to ease during Friday leaving strong winds in all areas. Widespread fog is not expected

Strong winds are expected in South Utsire, Fisher and Fair Isle on Tuesday evening. These are expected to die out in South Utsire and Fisher by midday on Wednesday, before strong winds develop in all areas except for North Utsire by the end of the day. Strong winds are expected to develop in North Utsire by midday on Thursday. Winds expected to ease in Viking, North Utsire, South Utsire, Forties, Cromarty, Forth and Fair Isle through Friday. Widespread fog not expected

Gales are expected in Faeroes and Southeast Iceland on Tuesday evening, with strong winds expected in all other areas. Gales are expected to develop in Rockall and Bailey by midday on Wednesday then in Shannon and Malin later in the day. Gales are expected to spread to Lundy, Fastnet and Irish Sea during Thursday but are expected to die out in all other areas. Further gales may affect the far west of Rockall later Friday. Widespread fog is not expected
