Lauren Hemp is running riot down the left too.

That's the devastating nature of the way Manchester City play.

Birmingham City had started well, caused a bit of a stir in the hosts' box but one blistering run from Lauren Hemp teed up Bunny Shaw and really, the Jamaica striker should score.

It's a brilliant save from debutant Sophie Baggaley, who will be hoping to make her mark as a number one this season.

    Charlton 0-1 Liverpool

Charlton's defenders are having to dig deep. They do well to get in the way of a whipped Sam Kerr effort, before they manage their shape well to prevent a short corner causing any problems.

  20. CLOSE!published at 14:36 BST

    Man City 0-0 Birmingham City

What a let-off for Manchester City!

A Jade Rose back pass looks easy for goalkeeper Ayaka Yamashita to deal with, but the Japan international and Gracie Prior leave the ball to each other and Birmingham forward Oceane Hurtre nips in.

Yamashita just about does enough to put off Hurtre and her shot from a tight angle goes into the side-netting.
