  1. Patience the key?published at 18:13 BST

    Israel 0-0 Scotland

    Brian McLauchlin
BBC Sport Scotland at Bozsik Arena in Budapest

Israel have started the game very similarly to last Friday's meeting. Lots of energy and trying to test the Scottish back-line without any success.

Scotland players slowly finding their way into the game.

However, patience may be the key to success this evening.

    Israel 0-0 Scotland

A free-kick to Scotland in a decent position to whip it in.

Caroline Weir's delivery doesn't have enough height on it, though, and is soon thumped clear.

  3. Postpublished at 7'

    Israel 0-0 Scotland

An early opening for Israel, not ideal.

A bit of a mix-up at the back and the pressure forces Scotland into a mistake, with Vital Kats almost getting a clear shot at goal.

    Thankfully, it peters out, though.

  4. Postpublished at 5'

    Israel 0-0 Scotland

Scotland make a positive start against an Israel side who fall into a back five when pressed.

A looping ball over the top almost carves them open but just trundles out of play.

    Solid opening few minutes.

The shadow that's now covering the pitch will be welcome relief for the players after a day where temperatures exceeded 30 degrees.

The Scottish players, however, look calm and composed as they prepare for their final Group B4 match.

The eyes will also have to be on what happens in Luxembourg who face Belgium and, with kick-offs at the same time, there will be no waiting game for Melissa Andreatta and her players.

  10. Weir's waypublished at 17:52 BST

    Israel v Scotland (18:00)

While Scotland are missing Erin Cuthbert, they still have one half of their world-class central midfield in the shape of Caroline Weir and they will need another top performance from the captain and Real Madrid 30-year-old after her hat-trick on Friday.

Wingers Kirsty Hanson and Lauren Davidson scored the other goals and the Scots will be looking for them to chip in again too.

  11. How will Scots fare without Cuthbert?published at 17:48 BST

    Israel v Scotland (18:00)

Scotland will be hoping for a repeat of Friday's 6-0 win.

Even though this is officially Israel's "home" tie, it is being played in the same Budapest venue.

However, this time, Scotland are without key midfielder Erin Cuthbert after the Chelsea 27-year-old went down with a knee injury in the closing moments.

Cuthbert had opened the scoring on Friday and set up two of the goals, so how big a miss will she be?

  12. Will Luxembourg do Scots a favour?published at 17:45 BST

    Israel v Scotland (18:00)

Scotland and Belgium have won all their Group B4 games apart from their two draws against one another.

But the Scots maintained their four-goal advantage over Belgium after Friday's reverse fixture against Israel.

A couple of hours after Melissa Andreatta's side crushed the Israeli's 6-0 in their "home" fixture against Israel, Belgium matched that scoreline against visiting Luxembourg.

Given Luxembourg had conceded 21 goals in their previous four games, the Belgians would have been looking to eat into the Scots' goal difference lead.

However, they still need a four-goal swing to prevent Scotland winning the group - and this time they are away from home.

  14. What comes with winning Group B4?published at 17:35 BST

    Israel v Scotland (18:00)

Considering three of the four sides in each European League B group qualify for the World Cup play-offs, why is it so important to come top?

Well, for a start it means promotion to League A for the next Nations League.

More immediately, with only the League A winners qualifying directly for the World Cup, topping your group means an easier path in October's play-offs.

Winners will be seeded along with teams finishing fourth in League A in matches against runners-up and third-place teams from League B.

  15. Two changes for Israelpublished at 17:31 BST

    Israel v Scotland (18:00)

A double swap for Israel, too.

Standard Liege's Derksan and UAB Blazers' Maia Sirota come into the starting defence.

Hapoel Katamon Jerusalem'sMia Shvill and Maccabi Kishronot Hadera midfielder Maia Cabrera drop to the bench,

  16. Double change for Scotlandpublished at 17:27 BST

    Israel v Scotland (18:00)

Two changes from the side that were 6- 0 winners last time out.

Chelsea's Erin Cuthbert misses out with a knee injury picked up in Friday's reverse fixture, while fellow midfielder Miri Taylor, of Aston Villa, drops to the bench.

In comes Liverpool's Kirsty Maclean and Birmingham City's Chelsea Cornet.

  17. Why Budapest?published at 17:24 BST

    Israel v Scotland (18:00)

It's worth a reminder of why the game is being played in Hungary.

Uefa ruled that no matches can be held in Israel for security reasons amid continued tensions and protests over the political situation in the Middle East.

And the Scottish FA explained that the decision to play both matches at a neutral venue was "in line with the other teams in Group B4" and that refusing to play would mean forfeiting the points.
