Advice:It's a fairly easy walk with only a steep climb at the end with Stapleford Hill.
In Brief:The walk begins at the Festival Inn (named in 1951 at the time of the festival of Britain) and ends at the Hemlock Stone which was formed over 200 million years ago during the Triassic period.
Start:Head to the Festival Inn on junction of A609/A6007 (Nottingham/Ilkeston Road) but ask for permission from the landlord to park. Or you could head for the free car park at Bramcote Hills Park and start there.
