Leicester City defender Victor Kristiansen has left the League One side for a season-long loan with Greek top-flight side Panathinaikos.

The 23-year-old's move comes after an injury-hit season at King Power Stadium, with a knee injury limiting him to just six appearances as the Foxes slumped to relegation from the Championship.

The Denmark international joined Leicester City when they were in the Premier League in January 2023 for £17m from Copenhagen.

He went out on loan to Bologna in Italy when the Foxes dropped to the Championship in 2023-24, and was brought back to the East Midlands the following season when they were again relegated from the Premier League.

In total, he has featured 51 times for Leicester across all competitions.
