Cath

SERIES TWO

SERIES ONE

Series One - Episode Five

First aired 3 February 2004

With the new sleeping arrangements, Jill finally gets Don into bed. However he's been out drowning his sorrows and falls asleep instantly. Next morning, Cath's horrified to find 'used' condoms all over the house. She finally rebels, punches Jill then kicks her out.

Suicide by Jill
JillJill's proposed methods include throwing herself down the stairs, shooting herself, an overdose (5 blisters of paracetamol), hanging and finally throwing herself in front of Cath's car.

Despite Jill's repeated suicide attempts, Cath refuses to make up with her, and arranges for her and Don to move to Hopperton, a healing community. Apparently, 'there are quite a lot of lesbians there' but Don assures her he doesn't have a problem with that.

Jill meets Glen in the sex shop again. When she finds out that he's loaded, she confesses that she's been struggling with her love for him for months, and would he like to take her back to one of his two homes?

Using her womanly wiles, Jill gets Glen to cough up for Terry's funeral. And the buffet. And the disco. At the funeral, she rides into the church on a black horse.

Meanwhile Terry has left the hospice and comes home to find flyers for his own funeral in the kitchen. Going to the churchyard, he discovers his own gravestone.

Cath's condition...

Jill: I think she uses it as an excuse sometimes, her muscular sclerosis.

Vicar: Multiple.

Jill: Oh, it's got worse has it?

watchClip: Linda's got a confession to make...
