Jill's staying with Cath to offer her support after finding split crotch knickers in Don's pocket. Cath's horrified to wake in the night and find Jill in bed with her and Don, without any pants on.

Jill's Plan
The split-crotch knickers Cath finds are the ones that Jill was looking at in the second episode.

Next day Jill says it's better for Cath to sleep downstairs, to save her the stairs, and that she'll sleep with Don. They'll make do, even though it's a double bed.

Dr Wivel says they're discharging Terry. Jill tells Terry it's terminal and that she's booked him into a hospice. For two weeks. With a three week option.

Don comes home to find Jill dressed up like Sandra, his ex-mistress. When Cathy wheels in and finds Don attempting to hoist Jill up from the crab position, she gets the wrong idea and accuses him of having an affair with Jill.

Jill helps Don and Cath's son, who's home for the holidays, to write a song for his band. It goes...
