Series One - Episode One

Jill and Terry are at the hospital. The doctor tells Terry that the tumour they found is malignant. Jill's takes the news very badly. As she says, 'Why me?'

Still, there's no point moping, so Jill joins a dating agency called Lasso the Moon. She's set up on a date with a long-standing client called Glen Bulb. He describes his personality as 'Scottish'.

This mini-fringe and drawn-on eyebrows combo leads the customer to throw herself off a bridge.

A doctor, Don Cole, moves into Jill's street. She's very taken with him, but MS sufferer and wife Cathy is a bit of an obstacle between them. Especially in that wheelchair.

After an upsetting talk with Terry about his infidelity with 'that slut', Jill announces to everybody that Terry's died. Linda appears to be suspiciously upset...

At the dating agency...

Jill: Ideally, I'm looking for dark hair, a red jumper and quite a large face.

Dating agency guy: OK. And what about personality?

Jill: I don't care if he has one or not.

Clip: Bad news for Jill...
