Tonight, much of the central and eastern mainland will have plenty of cloud and local fog along with some drizzle. Far western areas can expect occasional clear spells. Largely clear in the Isles.

Monday

Tomorrow, the mainland will start dry and dull with plenty of cloud and local fog but cloud will break up to reveal sunny spells in the afternoon. Patchy cloud and spells of sunshine on the Isles.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday

Early cloud and fog on Monday will clear to sunshine on the mainland. Staying cloudier on the Isles throughout. Tuesday is set to be dull and grey in Shetland. The mainland and Orkney should see early patches of fog and thick low cloud before skies turn sunny. Sunny spells developing after early mist and fog dissipate on Wednesday. Trending warmer, turning hot on the mainland.
