Latest forecast for North East Scotland, Orkney and Shetland
Last updated 8 minutes agoToday
This afternoon, the Isles will see areas of cloud move in from the west, bringing a risk of some showers. The mainland will be dry with sunny spells and patchy cloud.
Tonight
Tonight some thicker areas of cloud will push in across the Isles and northern mainland, with the chance of a few showers. Staying dry and clearer for the southern mainland though.
Monday
Tomorrow will see cloud cover thicken further across the Isles and perhaps the northern coast of the mainland, with showers tending to ease away through the day. Elsewhere, dry with bright spells.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday
High pressure will sit overhead through Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. All three days should be largely dry and settled, with areas of thick low cloud around and a few sunny breaks. The mornings will see some patches of mist and fog on the mainland too. Just the small chance of a light shower on the Isles and coasts at times.
