Tonight, the Isles will be dry and extensively clear. The mainland will see lengthy clear spells for most, but there is a chance of a few patches of low cloud and fog in places.

Thursday

Tomorrow, the mainland will see any lingering mist and fog soon be replaced by plenty of sunshine. Staying dry and mostly sunny on the Isles. Light to gentle winds.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday

Friday looks to be settled with morning fog, this clearing to sunshine later on. Largely sunny in Orkney but cloudier in Shetland. On Saturday, it will be cloudier overall with the chance of the odd spot of drizzle in places. Sunday is set to have variable amounts of cloud. Trending cooler.
