Sheffield Wednesday started life after Henrik Pedersen with a 1-1 draw against Cambridge.

A long old way to go still this season.

We will be back again on Friday night for Sheffield United's clash with Wrexham in the Championship, as well as Newport v Chesterfield in League Two.

    Good night!

Oxford United are the night's big winners in League One, climbing from seventh to third with their 1-0 victory over high-flying Stockport.

The U's are within a point of County with two games in hand and three points behind leaders Huddersfield with a game to spare on the Terriers.

Luton move up to eighth with their third win on the bounce against 18th-placed Doncaster and the Hatters are within a point of the play-off places.

It was also a good night for Leicester, who are up to 11th, and MK Dons, who gained breathing space from the bottom four by thrashing Bromley, who remain in trouble.

Sheffield Wednesday are ninth after their draw with Cambridge, who drop to seventh.

  4. 'Riis can score goals at this level'published at 21:52 GMT 27 October

    FT: Leicester 3-0 Wigan

    Matt Piper
Former Foxes winger on BBC Radio Leicester

Emil Riis is a striker who can score a lot of goals at this level.

He has that about him where he can score goals out of nothing.

The way he holds the ball up is very good also.

  5. 'Cambridge responded very well'published at 21:49 GMT 27 October

    FT: Sheff Wed 1-1 Cambridge

    Doug Shulman
    Summariser on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire

I don't think anyone can be in anyway disappointed with the performance. They went one goal down and responded very well.

The fact that they have come here and performed that well is very telling.

    MK Dons 4-1 Bromley

MK Dons pick up the three points as they make it two wins on the bounce in a dominating performance.

Aaron Collins put the Dons in front just before half-time but Mitch Pinnock pulled one back for Bromley in added-time as the sides went in level.

It was all MK Dons in the second half, though, as Collins continued his goalscoring form with his second of the game to become joint top scorer in League One, followed by finishes from Alex Gilbey and Charlie Goode to see off the Ravens.

  7. 'What a great performance'published at 21:46 GMT 27 October

    Nathan Cooper
    BBC Radio Oxford commentator

What a great, great performance from everyone wearing a yellow shirt tonight.

A wonderful game of football and a huge win.

  8. 'Cambridge could have won the game'published at 21:43 GMT 27 October

    FT: Sheff Wed 1-1 Cambridge

    Doug Shulman
    Summariser on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire

Cambridge can leave Hillsborough tonight knowing they could have won the game.

Sheffield Wednesday did have some good chances as well but at a time when United could have buckled and conceded a second, they stood up and responded.

  9. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:43 GMT 27 October

    Barnet 3-1 York

In the battle at the top of League Two, Barnet reign supreme and keep the pressure on Salford City.

York had taken the lead in the first half but the hosts fought back and in truth it was all wrapped up after Hiram Boateng's sending off after the restart.

  10. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:41 GMT 27 October

    Sheff Wed 1-1 Cambridge

All over at Hillsborough as these two share the points.

Mason Burstow had given Sheffield Wednesday the lead but that was cancelled out by Cambridge substitute Sullay Kaikai as they extend their unbeaten league run on the road to nine games.

  11. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:39 GMT 27 October

    Luton 3-1 Doncaster

A fairly comfortable win in the end for Luton.

Callum Marshall's penalty and a well-taken double for Tottenham loanee Jamie Donley gets the job done for Jack Wilshere's side.

Bayley McCann pulled one back for Doncaster with a nice looping header but it was no more than a consolation.

The Hatters deservedly take all three points for a third win in a row.

    Leicester 3-0 Wigan

A vital three points for Leicester City and manager Russell Martin.

That's a third win in four games for the Foxes to get over the late defeat by Luton at the weekend.

Wigan remain rooted to the foot of the League One table with a third straight defeat.

  13. goal

GOAL: Barnet 3-1 Yorkpublished at 21:36 GMT 27 October

Alfie McNally own goal (87 own goal)

Barnet are home and dry and their third is about as bizarre a goal as you might see tonight.

It's initially given as an Alfie McNally own goal but it comes via some good work from Damola Ajayi.

He makes a mazy run into the York box and the visitors can't get the ball off him. He strikes and it bounces high off McNally and bobbles over the keeper and in.

  14. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:35 GMT 27 October

    Oxford 1-0 Stockport

Mark Harris celebrates for Oxford against StockportImage source, Shutterstock

Oxford United hold on for all three points.

Mark Harris with the only goal of the night and Aaron Ramsey's side extend their unbeaten run to eight games.

Stockport's six-game unbeaten run of their own comes to an end and the U's are climbing up the table.

Oxford are into third place - one point behind County with two games in hand and three points behind leaders Huddersfield with one game to spare on the Terriers.

  15. 'Wigan look all over the placepublished at 21:35 GMT 27 October

    Leicester 3-0 Wigan

    Matt Piper
Former Foxes winger on BBC Radio Leicester

Wigan have looked all over the place in this second half.

Harry Souttar did so well to get there first and bring out the foul to win the penalty.

De Cordova-Reid sent the goalkeeper the wrong way and the Foxes have capped off a professional performance with a third.

  16. GREAT SAVES!published at 21:34 GMT 27 October

    Sheff Wed 1-1 Cambridge

Cambridge are having a right go here.

The ball is all over the place in the Sheffield Wednesday box and Cambridge manage to get three shots away which Owls keeper Ashley Maynard-Brewer does brilliantly to keep out before a fourth effort is blocked by a Wednesday defender.

  17. goal

GOAL: Leicester 3-0 Wiganpublished at 21:34 GMT 27 October

Bobby De Cordova-Reid pen (90+2 mins)

Bobby De Cordova-Reid smashes it low and hard into the bottom left corner from the spot.

Three goals and three points in the bag for Leicester.

A big relief for Russell Martin. How he needed this.

  18. PENALTY TO LEICESTERpublished at 21:33 GMT 27 October

    Leicester 2-0 Wigan

A chance to add some late gloss to the scoreline.

Reggie Walsh tries to clear in his own area but instead brings down Harry Souttar.

  19. Postpublished at 21:32 GMT 27 October

    Oxford 1-0 Stockport

Probably the best chance Stockport have created to find a leveller with only a couple of minutes remaining.

The ball comes in from the right and it runs all the way to Kyle Wootton in the six-yard area but he can't react in time to sort his feet out and it just hits him before bouncing to safety.

  20. Postpublished at 21:29 GMT 27 October

    Oxford 1-0 Stockport

Oxford win a free-kick about 20 yards out and Cameron Brannagan blasts it on target but Oliver Whatmuff beats it away.
