The placement is so accurate on the serve from both. They hit the spot perfectly.

Always a bonus when you can just smash an ace down like Auger-Aliassime just did.
But the second serve on the next point isn't good enough. It's only the second game of set three but it feels key.

He needs to hold serve though - and a crushing forehand winner from a decent Djokovic return gives him the chance to do just that.
But a slice from the baseline is well low into the net from Auger-Aliassime. Deuce again. Status quo remains.

This is a big opportunity for Felix Auger-Aliassime, Djokovic has just dropped in energy.

The irony in Novak saying it is an outdoor tournament regarding the roof being closed. Anyone else remember the semi-final against Rafael Nadal in 2018?

The world number four saves one break point, which leaves Novak Djokovic gesturing animatedly to his coaching box.
And he saves a second with a strong second serve that the Serb can only return into the net. Deuce.

Now it's Felix Auger-Aliassime's turn to show if we can produce resilience in the face of adversity.
A poor backhand down the line is well wide, 15-40...

It is interesting for me at the moment because both players are needing to, and should be, targeting each other in the same place; and that is hard, out wide and into the forehand.
Novak Djokovic is a great mover but he is getting caught a little late in there. Felix Auger-Aliassime is the sort of player that is much better when he is moving into his left-hand side, where he can dominate with a forehand and pull it inside in or go off with it.

The noise is so different under the roof. You can hear every noise, even in the silence.

Djokovic had it in the palm of his hand, threatened to give it away but then rescued it from deuce with some very impressive attacking tennis.

Novak Djokovic has started stretching in between points again. It's that same left leg that seems to be the issue.

I was at Centre Court on Friday and having watched FAA and Novak play thought FAA could definitely win if they made it to this round. I reckon this is going to five.

Wow, a wonderful Auger-Aliassime backhand right on the tramline gives the Canadian break point.
But Novak Djokovic responds aggressively, an attacking point rewarded with a forced error. Deuce again.

Because Djokovic had the issue in the first set, the break in play will concern him. He would've needed to keep his body warm and moving.
These conditions under the roof won't favour him. We'll see the ball move a bit quicker now.

It seemed we would resume in routine fashion with a Djokovic hold to love.
But a failed drop shot attempt from the Serb, a fine drop shot from Auger-Aliassime and another Djokovic error have us at deuce...

Father time catches up with us all Novak. Superb career but he doesn’t have another major left in him.

This match is panning out a lot like how we expected it to, in terms of Novak Djokovic using his backhand a lot and Felix Auger-Aliassime serving fantastically well.
He has just been able to neutralise Novak Djokovic on so many occasions.
