Wigan resting their whole first team in last week's Super League game still leaves a sour taste in relation to today’s cup win, but I’m sure the Wigan fans won’t care.

Too hot for these Hull players, never reaches 12 degrees here

Here he is, after tearing his hamstring in March, Bevan French is on for the final 20 minutes of this cup final.

And seconds into the match he is almost clean through but referee Liam Moore has pulled up play for a forward pass.

It looked the right call to be fair.

    Wigan 28-4 Hull KR

Disappointment in the Hull KR end but their team have been outplayed in the first hour of this one.

They need a score immediately to set up what would still be a nervy final 20 minutes to a lot of Wigan fans.

That is it, that will win the Challenge Cup for Wigan Warriors.

It’s try number five for Wigan who are running riot at Wembley.

You have to question the defence. I think they’ve given up the ghost here Rovers but you can’t take too much away from Wigan.

  5. 'Wigan bossing it'published at 16:34 BST

Three tries, two absolute beauties in terms of kicking and one brilliant run.

Jack Farrimond's for Junior Nsemba's try earlier on was quite something, but the weight Harry Smith put on his kick for Adam Keighran's first try was sensational.

And Hull KR left the door open again for Keighran's second as he put in some very intelligent running indeed.

Wigan, for the second time in a final today, are bossing it.

Two in two minutes for Adam Keighran - an absolutely magnificent score.

    Wigan are in dreamland now!

The Australian is found in space on the right edge and races away from Mikey Lewis - who looks to still be playing with an injury he suffered in the first half.

Keighran is not going to be stopped, sliding over in the corner.

He then slots the conversion beautifully.

It's in off the post - another indication perhaps that it is going to be Wigan's day.

The Warriors fans are already preparing to celebrate another Challenge Cup victory.

    That might just be that!

It's Harry Smith this time - with the most delicate to Adam Keighran, on the move, to dot down in front of the Warriors supporters.

An excellent move from Wigan. They are playing with real style in the sunshine now.

Keighran then adds the extras with the boot, via the post. When it's going your way, it's going your way.

    Wigan 16-4 Hull KR

Some unforced errors from Hull KR who are caught offside and a set restart is enforced.

Brad O'Neill weaves through two challenges on the right edge and the extremely confident Jack Farrimond kicks to the corner once more.

Tom Davies does well under pressure for the Robins but they will have to pump the ball back to Wigan again.

That's a big score for Wigan because they were dented at the back of the first half.

Junior Nsemba climbs above the defenders and what a catch that is!

Arms out stretched and over he goes.

Magnificent, it really is high-quality. A big man demonstrating such great skill.

    It's just what he does!

On the last, a high kick from Jack Farrimond - who goes from scorer to provider - is towards Hull KR's right-hand defensive edge.

There's only one winner here - Junior Nsemba is head and shoulders above everyone else, timing his leap to perfection, before grounding over the line.

    Adam Keighran nails the extras.

Not only has this match been full of quality, it's been brutal as well.

Hull KR's Tom Amone is the next player to go down momentarily following a collision inside the first 60 seconds of the restart.

What a 40 minutes we have in front of us right now. That try from Peta Hiku right on half-time has us perfectly poised as Hull KR get us back under way.

Mikey Lewis is back out for the Robins while Bevan French has gone through a significant warm-up at the break.

    HT: Wigan 10-4 Hull KR

    Hull KR

Hull KR half-back Tyrone May speaking to BBC One at half-time:

"It was very important to get that try just before half-time. I think that first half wasn't a great showing from us, but I think we can gain confidence from just scoring there."

On what his side need to do in the second half:

"We need to do what they did to us. Compete well and then just get off the back, get our kick-chase going. We're not defending the way we are, but we'll probably get a rocket at half-time which will be well-deserved."
