Maja Stark has another look at birdie as the Swedes continue to fire in the anchor match. But she doesn't give her 20-footer enough juice. That would have been to win the hole.

Jennifer Kupcho's three-footer for par needs knocking in for a half. Which she does.

Celine Boutier from the drop zone on the sixth, knocks Europe's third shot in to around six feet.

US have two putts for the hole. Alison Lee is out with the broom and sweeps the birdie try right at the hole and it lips out to six inches. That's a concession and a hole-winner. Match tied.

Oof. There's no other way to say this other than that's a dreadful tee shot by Nanna Koerstz Madsen on the short par-three sixth.

It's all over water and NKM chunks her shot straight into the drink.

Lauren Coughlin taking no chances off the tee. She just finds the front of the green. Odds are this match is going back all square in a few minutes.

More in-roads being made by the USA as Andrea Lee and Lindy Duncan have won the fourth hole to pull one back on Leona Maguire and Esther Henseleit and reduce the European lead to just a hole.

It's been something of a blue wave early this morning but the Americans get a sliver of red on the scoreboard in the top match after Charley Hull misses the green with her tee shot on the par-three sixth before Lottie Woad is loose with her short game recovery shot.

Nelly Korda and Allisen Corpuz make a par which is enough to take the hole and nudge ahead in the lead-off match.

Linn Grant applies a bit of pressure with her second shot into the third hole from the rough knocking her ball in to around eight feet.

From the fairway Jennifer Kupcho is a little left and missed the green. We saw Celine Boutier hole one from a similar place a few minutes ago. But Rose Zhang can't replicate that.

Over to Maja Stark for the win... a fist pump speaks volumes. Three holes, three birdies for the Swedes. Solid.

Lauren Coughlin misses a birdie putt on the fifth, leaving the door slightly ajar for Europe but Nanna Koerstz Madsen can't kick it down. Her 25-footer for birdie pulls up short. Hole halved.

One player not conceding putts right now is Leona Maguire, who sees Andrea Lee tickle her effort just a couple of feet beyond the hole, but she makes Lindy Duncan pop that one in coming back.

As one of the best putters on the team Duncan makes no mistake, but that just shows that Maguire's not out here to make friends today.

She means business...

Charley Hull has the chance to win the hole on the fifth from about 15 feet but her attempt just burns the right edge of the hole.

The ball races on a couple of feet but that's conceded by the Americans and it's another half.

On the long second we find Jennifer Kupcho in a bunker short of the green. It's the American pairing's third shot and she's pretty unhappy with her effort.

It was one of those tricky 50 yarders from the sand and her ball has barely crept on to the putting surface.

Rose Zhang is not knocking in a birdie putt from Amsterdam and that leaves Maja Stark a chance to win the hole from four feet. Boom. Europe ahead.

Alison Lee is chipping from greenside rough on the par-three fourth and she zips her ball a good five feet past the hole.

Will Celine Boutier take advantage from about 15 feet? No. A timid putt pulls up short.

Lauren Coughlin needs to knock her par putt in for a half. She does.

Leona Maguire is rock solid from about seven feet away to drain her putt and move Europe two ahead in this third match.

Maguire and Esther Henseleit are playing beautifully having won the opening two holes.

Celine Boutier is eyeing up a birdie putt from just off the left of the third green and the Frenchwoman nervelessly rolls in a 25-footer.

That means Alison Lee needs to match that from around 15 feet. Great camera angle and her ball is right on line but she's not hit it. Criminal to leave a birdie putt short.

Hole to Europe!

Charley Hull hits a nice tee shot on the par-three fourth hole to give Lottie Woad the chance to win it. It's a tough putt from about 20 feet with plenty of break left to right, and Woad just doesn't quite give it enough juice as it runs out of steam

We remain all square in this one.

A great start for both teams in the final match, with the hole indeed halved in birdies.

Linn Grant firing into the first green with a wedge from around 90 yards and her ball dances around the hole to leave her playing partner a four footer for birdie.

Over to Jennifer Kupcho... and she is equal to the challenge, floating her wedge in even closer.

Charley Hull is stuck behind a tree on the third but plays a nice escape before Lottie Woad hits a fine chip to give her partner the chance to halve the hole as Nelly Korda stuck one in tight.

It's only about four feet but a bit slippery so a bit of a nervy one, but Hull is up to the task to keep the match level.

Given all the fun and games on the first tee we've not seen anything of the second match going down the par-five second hole.

Andrea Lee had a good go at holing a monster putt but it's not to be, so Leona Maguire has the simple task of tapping in a short one to put Europe ahead in match three.
