Chelsea have made it clear that if Enzo Fernandez does not leave in the summer, the club are willing to fully reintegrate Fernandez into the squad and allow him to continue as a key player.

Who in their right mind would want to sign Enzo? He isn’t any good and £120m is a rip off of epic proportions. Bruno at £57m would be a far better signing, especially if you get Rodri too for £60m (2 for 1 deal).

There are again rumours that Manchester City could make a move for him.
Chelsea's stance has remained consistent. Their asking price remains £120m should any club want to sign him, acknowledging that the Argentina international is open to a move.
However, Chelsea will not budge on that valuation and both Xabi Alonso and the club as a whole would be happy to reintegrate him into the squad this season.

To ask more than you paid for a player with him being older is the sort of mad business you’d expect from a club run like Chelsea. There is no way they’re getting anywhere near £120m for Fernandez.

Chelsea HAVE to compromise on Enzo. He wasn't worth £100m+ when they bought him and he certainly isn't worth it now. Knock it down to £70m and you might get a buyer. It's not as if Chelsea would even notice a £30m loss anyway

Clubs just let Chelsea keep Enzo, he will be 60 million cheaper next year. Also please don't start the Bruno talk, he is going nowhere.

If Enzo wants to go we should let him. But if he wants to stay in the prem the 120mil should be the least we get. It's simple: I don't want players that don't want to play for the team and the badge.

The Argentina international, 25, has faced uncertainty over his future at Stamford Bridge since March, when he first raised the possibility of a move to Real Madrid.
Around that time, his agent Javier Pastore publicly stated his client was underpaid and wanted to leave following a difficult season in which Chelsea finished 10th in the Premier League and ended the campaign without a trophy after losing the FA Cup final to Manchester City.
Real Madrid have since said they have "no intention" of signing Fernandez, leaving the only known potential suitors as Manchester City, whose new boss Enzo Maresca left Chelsea midway through last season.
It remains unclear whether City would be willing to meet the player's valuation, with the Etihad outfit also known to be targeting Lille's Moroccan midfielder Ayoub Bouaddi.

CFC fan here. The deadline for Enzo is a good move. We don't want it hanging over us going into Fulham. If he goes, I expect us to go for Scott or Wharton. I want Enzo to stay but I also don't want someone who isn't playing for the badge.

Chelsea have set a deadline of 17:00 BST on Friday for any offers for Enzo Fernandez and are expected to stand firm on their £120m price tag, even though they signed him for £107m from Benfica in 2023.
The deadline is intended to bring an end to uncertainty before the start of the season, having given Fernandez and any interested clubs around 60 days to complete a deal at what Chelsea consider a fair price.
New manager Xabi Alonso has spoken to Fernandez about his future, but has declined to disclose details of their conversation.
It is understood Chelsea have made it clear they are willing to fully reintegrate Fernandez into the squad and allow him to continue as a key player.
He scored 15 goals and provided seven assists in 54 appearances for the club last season. He then helped Argentina reach the World Cup final, where he was sent off as they lost to Spain 1-0.
Fernandez returned to training with Chelsea this week for the first time under Alonso.
Time to turn our attention to another London-based club.

Glad Romero is leaving, he was a liability with his short fuse, he never seemed committed to Spurs in the final season. I will miss Spence though...

Sadly Romero tainted his legacy at Spurs at the end of last season. We started to feel his lack of control cost us more than his contributions at the other end of the field. Never the right Captain.

I'm not surprised spurs fans aren't happy with how Romero acted at the end of last season. That said-obviously RDZ and the Spurs hierarchy obviously let him go to Argentina and they never should have sanctioned it in the first place.

Atletico Madrid held talks with Tottenham defender Cristian Romero, who is expected to leave the club this summer.
The 28-year-old is allowed to leave, but Spurs are still asking for a substantial fee, believed to be about £40m.
Romero is keen on a move to Spain to work with compatriot Diego Simeone, and personal terms are not expected to be an issue.
Romero is a long-term target for Atletico manager Diego Simeone, with the Spanish side believed to be pressing ahead with another attempt to sign the centre-back.
Spurs boss Roberto de Zerbi recently said he would "respect the will" of players if they wanted to leave.
Romero missed the end of last season with a knee injury as Spurs avoided relegation on the last day.
He was sent off twice last season as the north London club finished 17th.

As a Spurs fan, I’m glad to see the back of Romero. We won’t forget the fact he was planning to be in Argentina on the final day of the season, with a team he captains needing a win to stay up.

So pleased to see Romero moving on. Spurs are stronger without him. In 2025-6 he failed to bring strength and organisation to Spurs defence, and Spurs avoided relegation while he swanned off. Never committed, never a real captain.

It is probably time for Romero to move on although he's been one of my favourite players at Spurs for a while now. With regard to Djed, I think we should keep him, he is such a talented player But good luck to both of them.
