Its been a bad summer for Derby and looks like it will carry on throughout this season. Must be favourites to go down.

    Paul in Chesterfield

Feels like a season defining day for Derby County today. Four players needed, especially out wide. A tall order...

    Tom in Derby

Derbys alleged ‘Plan B’ once the takeover collapsed seems to be to aimlessly wander into mid table mediocrity (at best).

Reading are yet to sign anyone who really makes you take notice of them and would make anyone take them seriously as a team pushing for promotion. Yet this is all we hear out of the club. Mid table mediocrity awaits.

    Tom in Morecambe

Operating under a strict EFL transfer embargo, Oxford United's deadline day strategy is limited exclusively to cost-compliant moves, such as the zero-fee loan acquisition of midfielder Kai Andrews from Coventry.

    Archie in Oxford

Wimbledon have got one loan slot left after signing Bursik so hoping we’ll bring in a centre back with some pace or another wing back if Nkeng leaves today. Also loans out for a couple of our young forwards.

Let's take a check on what's happening in League One, shall we...

Jaden Heskey returns to Sheffield Wednesday for a second loan spell. The 20-year-old made 20 Championship appearances for the Owls during his time at Hillsborough in the second half of last season.

West Ham defender Kaelan Casey has joined Stevenage on loan until the end of the season.

AFC Wimbledon have signed goalkeeper Joe Bursik on loan from Portsmouth for the rest of the season. The 26-year-old returns to the club after being part of the academy at Plough Lane as an eight-year-old.

As a Sheffield United fan I honestly can't see where any goals are coming from if we sell O'Hare? Brooks, Hamer and potentially O'Hare all out in one window with no back up brought in? Absolutely diabolical from the owners!!!

    James in Sheffield

Callum O'Hare can lack end product but with the earlier departures of Gus Hamer and Andre Brooks he is the Blades most progressive player. If he goes they are extremely short on creativity.

  9. One in, more to come at Wrexham?published at 14:05 BST

    Deadline day

    Chris Wathan

A first deal of the day done for Wrexham with the addition of Joe Worrall from Burnley.

You would expect the arrival of the 29-year-old on a two-year deal to end Phil Parkinson's search for a centre-back.

So now attention will switch to the attacking option the Wrexham boss wants in before the deadline. There's a bid on the table for Sheffield United's Callum O'Hare which is looking the most likely as it stands.

No doubt there will be a few more names thrown into the mix before the end of the day, something the north Wales club have become used to in recent years.

There's some reports this morning there's an interest in former Leicester City and England striker Jamie Vardy, without a club since leaving Italian side Cremonese.

There's no confirmation on that yet.

But Parkinson is due to face the media later on today so it will be interesting to see what he says on the 39-year-old and whether he is an option - even if it is one that could happen after the window closes because of his free agent status.

Expect some movement out of the Racecourse today, too.

If Callum O'Hare joins Wrexham, United will have sold three players involved in 60% of goals scored last season. Blades going down as there is no ambition from the board.

Cardiff City fan, as per usual it seems all the talk of three/four coming in is rubbish. Not good enough! We'll struggle to stay up this season. Golden opportunity wasted whilst we had promotion momentum!

An approach is yet to be made to Southampton for attacker Sam Edozie that satisfies both the player and club. It is understood that the winger has so far had one formal offer from Cardiff City which the player rejected An enquiry was also made earlier in the window by another club at €2m (£1.7m) which never developed into a bid and fell well below Southampton’s valuation.

It remains to be seen if the club will be able to complete a deal for Edozie to depart before tonight’s deadline with the player keen for a new challenge.

West Ham have picked up a few signings recently but it's clear the defence is in real trouble this season already! Could definitely do with someone coming in with some experience there.

    James in Faringdon

West Ham desperately need a CB and a LB, but we also need to clear out our deadwood. We have several players refusing to play and wanting out.

As a West Ham fan, this window has been bizarre. Apart from Potts, none of the sales have been surprising but we’ve got good money for everyone. And yet we haven’t addressed our awful defence or ineffective midfield at all. No leadership, pace or creativity, which we’ve needed for years.

    Dave in the Cotswolds

Wout Faes' deal to West Ham is falling through. He and his agent must be asking for silly terms as that's a great move for all concerned.

    Nick in Norwich

When it's clear to everyone that West Ham urgently need a left-back, central defender and a holding midfielder, there seems to be not a whisper coming out of the club today. Not sure I'll be staying up until 11pm.

West Ham are tipped to win the Championship title and return to the Premier League this year but it's not going so well after three matches and no wins.

The side were boosted by the retention of captain Jarrod Bowen (though the day isn't over yet!) and he'll be joined by seven new players this season:

Would love to see Saints get a new CB but I don’t think we’ll see anything from them.

    Corey in Isle of Wight

I think if Saints were to sell Taylor Harwood-Bellis, we would have to use that money quickly and try to get a good replacement quick.

My team Lincoln are sniffing around right-backs/right wing-backs with captain Tendayi Darikwa ruled out for the season last week. Being linked with Ipswich's Chiedozie Ogbene and Hellas Verona's Daniel Ogeyoke over the weekend. Up The Imps!

    Simon in Staines

Looks like two in for Lincoln - Ogbene from Ipswich and Oyegoke from Hellas Verona. Could still do with some creativity in midfield for me but looks unlikely

    Lincoln City

Lincoln City set a club record fee for striker Mikkel Ladefoged as they look to make an impression on the second tier.

They've already won their first match since April 1961 and here are the eight players invited this summer to help them keep doing so:
