Sheffield Wednesday have re-signed Manchester City midfielder Jaden Heskey on loan for the remainder of the season.

The 20-year-old - who is the son of former England player Emile Heskey - made 20 Championship appearances for the Owls during his initial loan spell in the second half of last season.

The deal was completed in time for him to be available for Tuesday's League One away game against Wycombe Wanderers.

"He joins what we believe is a terrific group of players competing for selection in midfield and brings different attributes that complement what we already have," said Owls sporting director Simon Wilson.
