Arsenal grabbed a last-minute winner against KB Hoge, Manchester City snatched a draw after being two down versus Bayern Munich and Chelsea are minutes away from beginning with three points.

Will this be the year for an English team to win this competition, just as Arsenal did two seasons ago?

Katie McCabe swings in a delivery from a corner from the right, but goalkeeper Jasmin Pal is decisive and gathers well under pressure.

Modesta Uka won't be getting a goal for Austria Vienna as she has now been replaced by Almedina Sisic coming on, along with Lotta Cordes. Louise Schoffel was the other player to make way.

If any player deserves it, it's her.

Again it's just not clearing the ball well enough. It's a poor clearance - too much space. Modesta Uka is left-footed, she is only going to go on her left and she is so good on it.

Inches away from 1-1. Modesta Uka, who has looked the greatest threat for the visitors, jinks to get the ball on her left foot near the penalty spot and she shoots low aiming for the bottom corner.

Livia Peng doesn't get there, but is then saved as the ball rebounds off the foot of the left-hand post and away.

That should be two. Again Ellie Carpenter storms forward down the right and she hangs up a cross for the unmarked Sjoeke Nusken.

She has time to control the ball, but instead opts for the volley and can't keep the strike down. Glorious chance.

Chelsea are living dangerously. They play themselves into trouble inside their own penalty area, an Austria Vienna player gets caught, but no penalty is awarded and Valentin Potzl shoots and Livia Peng makes a vital save.

Chelsea are looking for a second goal and Ellie Carpenter gets to the byline and fizzes the ball into the middle, but Jasmin Pal does well to get her gloves to the ball and push it away from danger.

Alyssa Thompson, who has been the best player on the pitch, is now on the right wing and cuts inside on to her left foot. She tries to squeeze the ball home at the near post, but Jasmin Pal is equal to it.

Modesta Uka is looking good. She is a player that has really shone here.

Giving her that space to turn and allow a shot though is not good enough from Chelsea.

Austria Vienna, in their first ever match in the main phase of the Champions League, almost get an equaliser.

They spring down the right and it is played into Modesta Uka. With no Chelsea defender close enough, she can spin and shoot and the ball would've gone in if Livia Peng had not flung herself to her right to make a crucial save.

Austria Vienna get a couple of corners in quick succession. The first one is no good, low at the near post, but the second is more challenging, although Livia Peng does well to punch clear in a crowded penalty area.

At the other end, Chelsea sprint forwards and goalscorer Wieke Kaptein has a shooting opportunity after good work from Sjoeke Nusken, but Jasmin Pal gets down quickly and is able to parry the attempt.

Austria Vienna just shouldn't be getting these chances. Valentina Potzl should not be able to turn in that space and get a shot off.

Valentina Potzl is able to spin and shoot for Austria Vienna, but there was not enough power on the shot, which loops up into the hands of Livia Peng.

Alyssa Thompson tries to chase onto a ball forwards, but goalkeeper Jasmin Pal has a good starting position and is able to step out of her penalty area and boot the ball away.
