Wales have to be fairly pleased that they are not behind after a first half in which Denmark were the much more menacing side.

There are no changes in personnel for Wales, but they must find a way to change the course of the contest.

Looking after the ball a bit better must be the first target, you'd think.

A brilliant sliding challenge from Ampadu to ensure Daramy is unable to run at goal on the left, just 25 seconds after the restart.

    He's certainly switched on!

  3. SECOND-HALFpublished at 20:47 BST

Oh to be a fly on the wall in the dressing room at half time.

Was Bellamy urging his players to really go for it in this second-half, I wonder?

    The bench could be pivotal.

Anyway, it's one last push before this extended international break comes to an end for Wales.

We're back under way at Cardiff City Stadium.

The second half is about to get under way. Can Wales find the breakthrough against Denmark? Should Craig Bellamy turn to the bench?

    John Hartson
Former Wales striker on Match Of The Day Wales

Wales started lively again, just like they did against Norway, despite going behind.

They got on the front foot, but we were not quite clinical enough; one or two balls did not break their way.

But there is plenty to play for in the second half. There is very little in the game at the moment.

Hojberg went off very early. It was interesting; he took the set piece and then instantly pulled his hamstring. That's the sign of four games back-to-back in just over 10 days.

But that didn't change how Denmark are trying to play; there's a lot of mobility from the front three, and they look good, especially Daramy.

Tonight's match marks the end of the extended first international break of the campaign.

After this game, Wales have just two more matches to come in 2026, both of which are Nations League A fixtures.

    14 November - Norway v Wales (17:00 BST) - Ullevaal Stadion

    17 November - Wales v Portugal (19:45 BST) - Cardiff City Stadium

As even a 0-0 as you're going to see. Both teams are huffing and puffing, but not doing enough to blow the house down.

You talk about picking up right where we left off; Sorba Thomas has done that.

If you're a striker, you'd love to be in the box for him when he gets the ball out wide and then delivers. Now we just need to get on the end of one of them.

It is also half-time in Porto between Group 4 leaders Portugal and Norway. As things stand, it’s 1-1. Kristoffer Ajer's opener was cancelled out by Joao Cancelo.

It means Wales, Norway and Denmark are all currently on four points. A Wales win would move Bellamy's side up to second if the other game ends level!

  11. 'Wales edging it'published at 20:36 BST

    HT: Wales 0-0 Denmark

    Nathan Blake
Former Wales striker on BBC Radio Wales

My stats say that Wales are just edging it, and I'd say that's about right.

Both teams have been pretty evenly matched; when Wales are at their high-tempo best, we look really dangerous.

    Danny Gabbidon
Former Wales defender on BBC Radio Wales

Isaksen is not super quick, but he is nimble on the ball.

He looks like he's going to cross, then he cuts back onto his right or his left foot, and he flights a delightful ball into the box.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:32 BST

    HT: Wales 0-0 Denmark

It's as you were at half time.

Wales started well, but Denmark got stronger as the half went on.

All in all, there's been very little to separate the sides.

Denmark stay on the front foot in the final stages of the first half, but Daramy's cross is easily gathered by Danny Ward.

We have complimented the full backs for being hard to play through, but when your then tucking in you are going to leave space for the wingers out wide.

The substitute Olsen is really holding his width so far as well.

Jordan James is on the deck as part of the Wales wall.

Gustav Isaksen himself takes the free kick...

But he hits the wall, much to the delight of the home fans.

Denmark recycle possession and deliver the ball to the back post, but Provstgaard heads over.

Isaksen goes down just outside the Wales box under a challenge from Wales skipper Davies.

Denmark free kick in a similar position to where Neco Williams scored from on Thursday night against Norway.

  19. Postpublished at 43mins

I mentioned Norway had just taken the lead...

Joao Cancelo has already levelled for Portugal, which, all things considered, is a positive for Wales as they bid to avoid finishing bottom of their group.
