There's plenty of red shirts getting forward.

I love seeing us win the second balls as well, whenever they lose it we are there and we are winning it back.

Koumas and Jordan James combine well in the middle of the pitch.

James is unable to pick out Thomas on the left with a first time pass.

Confident stuff from the hosts, mind.

Craig Bellamy was glowing in his praise for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg on the eve of this game, describing the former Spurs man as being like a manager on the pitch.

But the Denmark captain is off after only nine minutes.

With Mikkel Damsgaard already missing, Wales may be facing Denmark at a good time.

    Danny Gabbidon
Former Wales defender on BBC Radio Wales

We've seen a lot of injuries in this campaign with the amount of high intensity games over short period.

That's a big blow for them to lose Hojbjerg. Advantage for Wales.

Denmark captain Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is indeed withdrawn.

He's replaced by Andreas Skov Olsen.

  8. Postpublished at 10mins

    Wales 0-0 Denmark

Denmark are temporarily down to 10 men as they look to make a change.

Wales attack, and Thomas' cross is well cleared.

Williams keeps the attack alive, and the home fans respond.

Jordan James crosses towards Brennan Johnson who catches the ball well on the volley, but his effort goes well wide.

First 10 to 15 minutes we have to look to exploit the pace of our attackers out wide and down the middle.

Neco Williams blocks a cross from Joakim Maehle, and it rolls out for a Denmark corner in front of the Canton End.

It's whipped into the Wales box by Hojbjerg, and Sorba Thomas is eventually able to clear.

Hojbjerg looks in a spot of bother and may need to come off.

He instantly signalled he needed to be withdrawn. A huge blow for the away side.

Ben Cabango is a lucky boy. A tad sloppy from the centre-back there.

Rasmus Hojlund gets space in the box but can't properly connect with his shot.

Wales survive a bit of a scare there.

  12. Postpublished at 5mins

Wales work their way up the pitch as Denmark clear a cross.

As he did the other night, Ethan Ampadu fires a shot at goal from distance, but it's well over.

His wait for an international goal goes on.

Mikkel Daamsgard's performances for Denmark in the Nations League have been sublime.

His set piece deliveries were a killer for Wales in Copenhagen.

He's a big miss for them.

Victor Froholdt threatens in the Wales box, but he's penalised for barging over Brennan Johnson.

A loose touch from Sorba Thomas finally gifts Denmark some possession.

The Hull City man was excellent the other night.

It will be intriguing to see what players like him have left in the tank.

A prolonged version of Men of Harlech comes from the crowd as Wales control possession early on.

Plenty of players getting early touches as Bellamy's side look to dictate proceedings.

Those anthems were pretty special, and you really do feel there's a renewed sense of optimism among Welsh supporters following Thursday night's victory over Norway.

Can Craig Bellamy's side make it back-to-back wins?

    It's time to find out.

    We're under way in Cardiff.

  18. 'Interesting battle in that midfield'published at 19:44 BST

    Wales v Denmark (19:45 BST)

    Sam Vokes
Former Wales striker on Match of the Day Wales

It will be an interesting battle in that midfield tonight. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is someone that we know really well from the Premier League.

The other two in the midfield are also fantastically experienced. I think Hojbjerg may be playing a bit further forward than usual, so it will be interesting to see how he matches up against Ethan Ampadu.

  19. Big opportunity for Johnsonpublished at 19:43 BST

    Wales v Denmark (19:45 BST)

    Robert Earnshaw
Former Wales striker on Match of the day Wales

I don't think he would have wanted to make any changes to the team on Thursday.

It's a big chance for Brennan Johnson. If you saw the performances of Sorba Thomas and Dan James against Norway, you should be inspired.

We want to see more from him.

Former Wales defender on BBC Radio Wales

Lewis Koumas put in an absolute shift the other night; don't get me wrong, but he's a young lad he should be able to go again.

Limiting the changes will help cohesion and synergy. I think winning against Norway has also influenced the decision of the manager to keep it similar.
