What a scintillating team performance. Alex Scott has been imperious linking-up all over the pitch, reading the game and filling holes as needed. He looks like a Rolls Royce on his first start.

The play from England is superb. The way England are playing it to each other.

Anthony Gordon knows exactly where Jude Bellingham is.

Quick - somebody get the Ronnie Rosenthal miss tape!

Mateo Kovacic, take a bow. That is some miss.

And now Bukayo Saka has just scored the fourth for England.

What a miserable night for Croatia.

    But Kovacic - wow!

That Mateo Kovacic miss at 3-0. Dear me. It's not been a good week for the Manchester City player.

The end of Croatia's golden era I think. Modric, Kovacic, Perisic all moving on and the replacements aren't as good.

England completed 27 passes on the way to Jude Bellingham firing home their second.

Much has been made of England’s ability - or inability - to keep the ball in recent months.

But that move proved England are more than capable of moving the ball with purpose and conviction.

Excellent performance from England so far. Quick passing and movement and proper hunger and intensity off the ball. Also, Lewis Hall should remain our first choice left back.

    Ben, Brentwood

Hard to imagine but Croatia are fortunate it’s not worse than 0-4. England were that good, and Croatia that bad.

Anthony Gordon has been a flash of blonde hair bouncing through the turf, and he is making really intelligent cutting runs that Croatia cannot live with.

    What a mad game.

Bellingham has been on another level and sets up Saka. It ends a period of play where Croatia looked to be fighting back.

England have scored four goals but could have had so many more.

Well, the Arsenal man has a goal after yet another assist by Jude Bellingham who puts it on a plate for Saka to score from close range.

Thomas Tuchel just stands in his technical area with his arms wide as he is frustrated with how England and Elliot Anderosn lost the ball.
