Brentford have only won one of their 10 Premier League games against Tottenham Hotspur (D4 L5), their joint-lowest win percentage against any side (10% - level with Arsenal).

Tottenham Hotspur are one of only two sides, along with Chelsea, to have played more than once at the Brentford Community Stadium in the Premier League and never lose (5 each). Four of their five trips there have ended in draws, however, winning just once in February 2025 (2-0).

Brentford have started their league season with a win in just three of their last 14 campaigns (D6 L5), though two of those have been in their five Premier League seasons, beating Arsenal in 2021-22 and Crystal Palace in 2024-25.

Brentford scored the most goals (6) and generated the highest xG (6.8) in the Premier League last season following long throws into the box. Excluding penalties, only Arsenal (8) conceded fewer times from set-pieces than the Bees did in Keith Andrews’ debut season (9).

30% of Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League wins last season came under manager Roberto De Zerbi (3/10), despite the Italian only taking charge of 18% of their games (7/38); following his appointment ahead of MD32, only Brighton (8.7) allowed fewer passes per defensive action in the top-flight than Spurs (9.4).

Brentford’s Igor Thiago boasted the best shot conversion rate of any player to take 25 or more shots in the Premier League last season (26.2% - 22/84). Similarly, among those to score 15+ goals across Europe’s big-five leagues in 2025-26, only Harry Kane (30.3%) and Joaquín Panichelli (27.1%) had a better conversion rate.

New Tottenham Hotspur signing Sandro Tonali won possession overall (147) and in the middle third (87) more times than any Spurs or Newcastle United player in the Premier League last season; he also averaged 16.8 forward passes and 3.3 progressive passes per 90 minutes, more than any Spurs midfielder in the top-flight last term.
