Katie Wilkinson's first-half penalty sealed victory for Rangers over Hibernian and moved Leanne Crichton's side second in the SWPL.

After Scarlett Herron committed a foul on Camille Lafaix, PFA Scotland SWPL player of the year nominee Wilkinson stepped up to convert.

Deposed champions Hibs were unable to find a leveller and they sit a point behind Celtic with three games to play.

Rangers move above Glasgow City on goal difference and are four points behind leaders Hearts. Both Rangers and City hold a seven-point advantage over Celtic.
