Two quickfire second-half goals from Rekeem Harper and Alex Reid helped steer Barrow to a third successive win as they beat Scunthorpe 3-0 at Holker Street.

Harper broke the deadlock in the 68th minute to net for the third successive game. Seb Thompson's effort was parried, three minutes later but Reid fired home the rebound and then substitute Arian Allen added a third in the 87th minute.

Reid was twice denied by visiting goalkeeper Maison Campbell, who also thwarted Isaac Marriott, as well as firing an early effort just wide before Barrow made their pressure count.

Despite the scoreline Scunthorpe did have a chance to take the lead but Barrow keeper Ben Winterbottom denied Stan Ashbee as the visitors suffered a third defeat in four games.
