    Coventry 1-1 Aston Villa

John McGinn should probably score here.

Things open up for him at the far post and he tries to tuck it into the bottom corner but he drags it wide.

  2. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 BST

    Everton 0-0 Wolves

No goals as we enter the break.

    Coventry 1-1 Aston Villa

    Nick Mashiter
BBC Sport football news reporter at the CBS Arena

Coventry put four past Plymouth in the last round of the Carabao Cup but Victor Torp has their first goal at the CBS Arena this season.

After Sunday's 5-0 rout by Brighton the home fans are enjoying it and the Sky Blues are on top now.

Bobby Thomas opted to pass instead of shoot after Tyrone Mings' mistake, wasting a good chance, and Aston Villa have been on the ropes in the last few minutes.

  6. Postpublished at 20:33 BST

    Everton 0-0 Wolves

What a save from Joao Virginia!

It looks all the way a goal for Everton as James Garner crosses and Thierno Barry powers in a header - but somehow the Portuguese, moving the wrong way, reacts in time to get his arm up and claw the ball over the bar.

  7. Postpublished at 20:33 BST

    Coventry 1-1 Aston Villa

Coventry could have had a second there!

Almost a huge gift for the hosts as Aston Villa get caught playing out from the back but Bobby Thomas doesn't fancy the shot on his left foot and instead he lays it off but he should have gone for goal himself. BIG chance.

With Jimenez going off, there are more prime ministers in the stadium than strikers.

  11. Postpublished at 20:29 BST

    Everton 0-0 Wolves

Best chance of the game probably as Everton midfielder Jack Grealish slams in a shot from the edge of the box which is palmed out by Joao Virginia.

  12. goal

GOAL - Coventry 1-1 Aston Villapublished at 20:27 BST

    Victor Torp (27 mins)

Well that is an absolute beauty from Victor Torp.

He dips the ball over the wall and finds the back of the net from the free-kick.

Coventry haven't had much to celebrate this season but that is something. We're all square.

  13. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:27 BST

    Coventry 0-1 Aston Villa

The referee is into his pocket again. This time it's for Villa midfielder Ross Barkley. No complaints from the players there.

Coventry have a free-kick in a decent area.

  14. Postpublished at 20:27 BST

    Fleetwood 0-0 Sheff Utd

Fleetwood aren't happy as Japhet Tanganga shoves Aaron Loupalo-Bi into the advertising hoardings.

The Cod Army striker looks in some pain but he's OK to play on.

  15. Postpublished at 20:24 BST

    Everton 0-0 Wolves

Raul Jimenez speaks to his manager and then walks down the tunnel with a member of the medical team. Hopefully for him it's nothing too serious.

  16. Lacey a bright starpublished at 20:24 BST

    Man Utd 2-0 Brighton

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport Manchester United reporter at Old Trafford

Manchester United have spent the last 36 hours digesting the news of JJ Gabriel's impending departure.

It is a massive blow, there is no sugar coating that.

But Gabriel is not the only player of huge potential in United's academy.

Shea Lacey has been earmarked for the top for quite a while and probably would have been here sooner were it not for the injury that took a big chunk out of his career a couple of seasons ago.

Lacey was nursed back to full fitness and now we are seeing the results.

I have seen that check inside and finish a few times at Leigh Sports Village. He is a star in the making.

  17. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:24 BST

    Coventry 0-1 Aston Villa

Stefan Mfuni brings down Ibrahim Mbaye and a free-kick seems fair enough but a yellow card feels a bit harsh.

He's in the referee's book anyway.

  18. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:24 BST

    Everton 0-0 Wolves

Raul Jimenez can't play on for Wolves and Adam Armstrong takes his place up front.

  19. Postpublished at 20:23 BST

    Everton 0-0 Wolves

As Wolves striker Raul Jimenez gets treatment players and managers use this as a chance for an unofficial drinks break and team talk.

Mildly poetic that a kid who’s buckled down and waited patiently for his chance gets his first goal for United on a night when an even younger kid whose advisors seemingly want everything right now watches from afar, in a match he was supposed to play in.
