There's a lot of work for Burnley to do and not just in this is game.

Burnley win a corner on the right for a rare chance to try and create something in this second half.

The Clarets win a couple of headers in the box but then it loops up easily for West Brom goalkeeper Max O'Leary.

Burnley's Marcus Edwards brings down Ousmane Diakite in the midfield and earns himself a booking.

Burnley are yet two win a league game of football since February.

It's five draws and eight defeats in 13 games since then before today.

But this would be their first defeat in 34 Championship games though.

West Brom are deservedly ahead by two here and it's almost another for the hosts as Harry Whitwell gets in behind but is quickly smothered by Burnley goalkeeper Max Weiss.

It's a good penalty, right in the corner, keeper no chance.

He caught his backfoot and it's a penalty in any book.

Albion have got to keep this tempo and momentum up and try and get more, keep this attitude up because this crowd want more. I can see them getting more.

Credit to them for keeping their heads up after going 1-0 down.

A big chance to potentially put this game to bed now for Albion.

No real complaints by Burnley as the referee points to the spot.

Burnley finally get a brief spell of possession but they can't make much of it.

They give it away on halfway and then give a free-kick away to boot.

It's a bit of a short, sharp welcome back to the Championship in their first away game so far for the Clarets.

Burnley make the changes but it's West Brom coming forward again.

Callum Styles is first to a bouncing ball on the edge of the box and tries an ambitious half-volley with the outside of his left boot but it's straight at Max Weiss in the visiting goal.

Nicky Hayen has clearly seen enough and he makes a triple change for Burnley.

Armando Broja, Josh Laurent and Hannibal Mejbri are all withdrawn.

On come Ugo Raghouber, Zeki Amdouni and Chelsea loanee Dastan Satpaev, who is making his debut for the Clarets.

Kyle Walker shows he's still got it with a lovely switch out to Jacob Bruun Larsen on the left touchline for Burnley.

But Bruun Larsen can't beat his man and the move breaks down for the Clarets.

Burnley boss Nicky Hayen appears to be preparing more changes from the bench.

Hardly a surprise to be honest. It's all West Brom at the moment.

I feel a bit sorry for Nicky Hayen. Whatever he's said at half-time...

You can't do anything when conceding so early and it's so frustrating.

Burnley defender Bashir Humphreys might be lucky to escape a caution here.

He makes a blatant trip on Albion's Nolan Galves and it's a free-kick but nothing further.

Burnley have barely got in the Albion half, let alone had a shot yet since the restart.

Burnley are able to deal with the corner but can they reset and get themselves back in the game?

What did James Morrison say to his Albion players at the interval? It's worked so far.

It's all West Brom at the start of this half. Now the Baggies win a free-kick in a decent position.

Callum Styles can't quite get it over the wall though and it deflects behind for a corner.
