It took a late own goal from Grace Fisk to turn the tide before Lauren Hemp rounded off victory in stoppage time.

Liverpool forward Alice Bergstrom, speaking about losing the match late on: "Of course it was tough. We did a really great performance today so it was sad that we left it so close in the end."
On the positives from the display: "Like I said, we did a really great performance today. We created a lot of chances so it was just the last little bit."
On scoring: "It was fun to play today. I had a lot of the ball and a lot of good spaces so it was fun."
On moving forward: "We can be disappointed today but tomorrow we have to move on to the next game, and I know that we can win these games in the future.
"We are a completely new team this year so it's going to be fun."

Manchester City's Lauren Hemp, speaking to Sky Sports: "It was a really hard game. Liverpool posed a lot of threats. They had the momentum a lot of the time. When we got the third goal, the one Grace [Clinton] worked really hard for, I think that settled the nerves and we got the job done in the end.
"At times we played the ball really well, it's just about challenging them as well as we can and trying to get it forward with the right tempo. As long as we get the job done and keep pushing in the right direction, that's important.
"I think it shows we've got a lot of depth. A bit of energy came on and people changed the game.
"I don't normally score goals but it's nice to be on the scoresheet for once, especially on that last one I thought 'where am I going to put this'".

City were absolutely made to work for it but I think the substitutions made the difference. They needed something different and particularly Sam Coffey coming on, she made a massive difference and Fujino in the middle.
Champions find a way to win and they did. Unfortunately, it was mistakes from Liverpool for the third goal but you have to say, after 70 odd minutes City were the stronger of the two sides.

I was just about to say that Fisk has had a great game but she just went with the wrong foot there. She went with the right and she should have gone with her left.

Defending Women's Super League champions Manchester City maintained their 100% start to the season as they came from behind to claim a thrilling win against Liverpool.
Two late goals settled the outcome as Reds defender Grace Fisk put through her own net in the 90th minute, before Lauren Hemp raced clear in added time to calmly finish for her second strike on Friday night.
It looked set to be a long night for Liverpool when Hemp ran on to Carlotta Wamser's pass inside from the left and finished past former City keeper Khiara Keating with 13 minutes on the clock.
But the visitors quickly responded through Alice Bergstrom and Vivien Endemann, who took advantage of defensive lapses in the City backline to score.
Liverpool's pressing had already created two opportunities when City gave the ball away in the 19th minute, Bergstrom was played in and she coolly slotted past Ayaka Yamashita.
Ten minutes later City failed to clear a cross from the right and Germany striker Endemann pounced on the loose ball, despite Yamashita getting a hand to her shot.
Khadija Shaw was unlucky to hit the post from a tight angle as the hosts responded well, but she drew City level in first-half injury time through a piece of good fortune.
Hemp's low strike from the left trickled onto the goalline from Keating's parry, and Shaw reacted quickly to bundle the ball home.
The visitors - chasing a first away WSL win against City - started the second half brightly with Endemann creating problems down the left flank and a rogue cross hitting the outside of the post.
But City hit back and would have gone in front from a flowing team move had Keating not tipped over Shaw's close-range effort.
Liverpool were then let off the hook when Jade Rose blazed over after a deep cross bounced off the crossbar, but buckled in a dramatic finale as Fisk converted a Grace Clinton cross past her own keeper before the impressive Hemp confirmed a third successive league win for the hosts.
This was the first time City have been seriously challenged and they got through it - just.
While they displayed their usual relentless approach when attacking, they looked extremely vulnerable without the ball.
In the first half Laura Blindkilde Brown and Yui Hasegawa were overrun in midfield by the physicality and tenacity of Fuka Nagano and Natalia Ramos, the latter leading Liverpool's press.
City's failure to clear in the build-up to Liverpool's second goal highlighted just how much they miss injured centre-back Rebecca Knaak.
However, the mentality of Andree Jeglertz's squad was impressive as fighting back against a very good Liverpool side was no mean feat.
Another major positive was the continued fine form of Hemp, who was unplayable at times with the ball at her feet and caused Reds right-back Sam Kerr all kinds of problems.
That third-placed Liverpool's vast improvement from this time last year has already become a major theme of the new season was testament to the work of boss Gareth Taylor and his players.
They won the midfield battle hands down in the first half, and forced City into mistakes with their pressing as they did against Charlton and Tottenham.
Endemann in particular was excellent on the left wing, while Spaniard Ramos looks to be a superb midfield signing.
However, despite putting in a great performance, Liverpool were hanging on after City's introduction of Sam Coffey, Aoba Fujino and Kerstin Casparij gave them fresh impetus as well as added quality.
Taylor probably left it too late to bring on fresh legs for his team, and ultimately they could not hang on to suffer a first loss of the campaign.
