Five games down this weekend, five to go.

Some big results in the battle for European qualification and, of course, the title race...

Bournemouth

Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola was asked by BBC Sport if he had any regrets on his decision to leave this summer: "This decision took me a lot of time. In some moments [beforehand] you think 'OK I'm going to stay'.

"Once you take the decision you feel relieved. I think we are enjoying it more, even the players, trying to finish in a good mood, in a good place. I hope it lasts until the end."

Sunderland

Sunderland boss Regis Le Bris, speaking to Premier League Productions: "We created three or four big chances, which should be enough to score so the players are a bit disappointed in the locker room, which is a good sign.

"In the Premier League after eight years and being competitive against United is really demanding, but I think the players did really well."

On their missed chances: "The final third is always the most challenging part of the pitch. With a young squad. Probably because the Premier League is so demanding, they are really focusing in the defensive tasks, and with the way we play with the ball, but they need more creativity and more maturity [in the final third].

"We have talented players and with that it is a question of confidence. Frustrated at the end but I hope next week will be better."

On their defensive performance: "After the last game at home it was important to get back to our foundations, we did really well to defend our goal and make it challenging for the opponent."

On ending the season on a positive note: "It's important. We can't finish the season in a bad mood, its not possible. It's possible to have bad moments because in the Premier League when you are a bit lower in standards, a bit tired, the opponent can punish really quickly.

"We have been consistent this season, even if we had difficult moments and it's important to go back to our foundations because the last two weeks were excellent. If you keep those standards high then in the game you can feel you have built strong foundations and I hope it will be that way for the end of the season."

Wolves

Wolves manager Rob Edwards speaking to the BBC on the defeat against Brighton: "It was shocking start. I think we were still in our nice hotel for the first five minutes. A despicable start, played backwards, played sidewards. From the first throw in and got robbed.

"Not surprising. That's what Brighton do they're aggressive and jump on you. Still in bed for the second one, not defending corners. People not doing their jobs. We don't do our jobs, we're down against a team that is better than us, you can't give them a head start and we did that."

On what he would like to see from his side: "Start the game better than that obviously. We've got to continue to show fight. We did that after the second goal but by then it's too late. Two-nil after half time, we were pushing and had some chances, if we'd have got a goal then you never know.

"That's what the top teams are able to do, find a way in. We've got to show passion and fight. We know there is going to be a lot of change going forward, but for the one's that are here they have to continue to show pride."

On next season: "The fans will be angry at the moment and it's understandable with the position we are in. That's normal, they were excellent throughout the game today. We could hear them more than anyone throughout the game.

"But they're going to be angry. We know what we need to do our fix our position and we know there is a lot of work to do. I started in January and there's a lot of work to do in the summer."

Iraola is such a nice guy but when you see his teams play they get at you, they are aggressive and are always at the top of the table for fouls committed. He almost like a silent assassin. They press brilliantly. He is in demand everywhere across the whole of Europe.

Fulham

Fulham boss Marco Silva told BBC Sport: "Completely undeserved result for us.

"At 11 v 11 we were the best team, on the front foot, some good connections.

"We needed better decisions. We had a massive chance with Rodrigo Muniz completely alone in the six-yard box - the header has to at least find the target because it's a big chance for us to get what we deserve at that time.

"The red card completely changed the dynamic of the game. They were completely behind us even if the result was not showing that. After that the game changed completely.

"I didn't see any image that shows it should be a clear red card. I've seen many replays. The VAR has different images that I was not able to see from my analysis guys. We knew in football when you're in front and there is a red card for the other team you have to be more careful and mature. With the experience we have, we have to control the moments.

"Second half we tried to adjust things at half-time - there was more space for both sides. The front players have to take players on. We were not at the top of our game at the second half."

Brentford

Brendford's Nathan Collins speaking to Sky Sports: "We wanted to come here and play without fear. We knew we had to defend a lot of the times, as every team does here. we wanted to hurt them and I thought we did that in spells, and then after some decisions in second half, the momentum changed and they scored three goals."

On decisions that didn't go their way: "It changed the momentum and they grew from that, they got better as they went on, and you know when you come to a place like this, they are ruthless."

On heightened emotions during the match: "I didn't think it was too bad to be honest, there was an accident the first half I need to see back, not sure what happened there, but other than that, it's a normal football game full of emotions and if you take that away we are nothing really are we?"

Mood of the team on the season: "It's not great after losing a game, with two games left, we take the positives from that, and we can still do something with season with two games and try our best."

On European hopes: "There is a chance there for us, and there is a few teams fighting for it but we can only look after ourselves and try get a win."

Brentford

Brentford manager Keith Andrews speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "We are disappointed. We were quite brave in the way we approached the game. You could see from Manchester City's urgency what's at stake for them. We had key moments where we could have and should have done better.

"It was an unbelievable strike [from Jeremy Doku]. But I thought we reacted really well to going behind. We should have had a penalty. Key moment. But our players kept going and I have nothing but pride when I look at them."

On the penalty incident involving Kevin Schade: "I looked at the second Schade incident and I have looked at it three or four times. And there's no way Kevin will go down. The comment that was made was that there was not enough contact.

"But Kevin is one of the quickest players in the league and when he's moving at such speed, it's only going to take a little bit of contact. He's got the goal gaping. For me, that's a penalty."

His message to the fans: "The message is pretty clear. We have got two huge games. The last home game against Crystal Palace is next week. And I have no doubt the Gtech will be rocking."

Manchester City

Man City head coach Pep Guardiola, speaking to Sky Sports: "Really tough opponent. His transition, set-pieces, throw ins, we suffered in the first minutes but after that we played a really good game. Especially left side in the first half, both sides in the second.

"Jeremy [Doku] is outstanding in many things. Second half we put more players in the box, first half we didn't which is why we struggled. At the end we took a good result and keep going."

On Doku: "Looks like a final product already, of course he can improve. Always had this incredible ability to dribble and to make action and connection, it's outstanding. But now it's winning games. I'm so incredibly pleased to have a guy that brings energy and that can score goals."

On Arsenal: "We will see, that is not in our hands. We will do our job. We didn't do it perfectly with Everton. We will do our job and wait."

On players not giving up: "Everton was the real proof, 3-1 down and emotions. The second half we give away. It happened last season many times, now we're more solid but we still give away. That's football, it's how you react. I'm pleased for the way we have done it."

Match of the Day pundit

It's the best we've seen of Jeremy Doku. From a defender's point of view I'm not sure I'd know how to stop him. He's physically strong, can go right or left, his acceleration is something else but also his deceleration can leave you flat-footed.

He was up against Kayode, who I really rate, and he just couldn't handle him. He's been the best player in the Premier League these last few weeks.

Brentford

Brentford manager Keith Andrews speaking to Sky Sports: "We were playing against a team fighting for the title. You could see that from their urgency. I liked a lot of what we did today. I liked the bravery and courage with our approach.

"It needed to be near perfect performance from us to win tonight. The margins of some of the chances we had, some of the decisions that were made were quite telling. I'd step back and think I am really proud of what we produced but ultimately, we lost the game."

On the refereeing decisions: "I think there was a lot going on for the officials. I will be the first to tell what a difficult job they have to do on a day-to-day basis. It's difficult with all the contentious issues and at times the playacting. I thought Kevin Schade incident was a penalty. So that was really disappointing."

On bouncing back from the defeat: "Coming to City and playing the game against at team fighting hard against Arsenal, it depends on how you look at it. We came here with a honesty in our approach and a belief that we could get something from this game. We are disappointed we couldn't.

"I don't think the players will need any lifting. It will naturally happen. We have got a huge game against Crystal Palace next."

That really would put the cat amongst the pigeons, Tim.

Even if Arsenal do win, no game is a gimme at this stage of the season and Crystal Palace away on the final day - even with the Eagles just a few days out from the Conference League final - could still prove very tricky.

Of course, City have got a very difficult game of their own at Champions League-chasing Bournemouth just a couple of days after the FA Cup final. There are still plenty of potential twists and turns to come...

Manchester City

Man City's Jeremy Doku, speaking to BBC's Match of the day on his goal: "Looks a bit like the one against Everton, we wanted to take short, the corner, I go past my man and then I look for the pass in between, the ball comes back and I'm inside the box and I feel I have space to shoot and I do it without thinking and I'm happy that it went in."

On whether he plays without thinking too much about it: "I'm an instinct player. Today it's working out. I scored some goals, I've always played with instinct but now the goals are coming. I haven't been a different player.

"I feel like after the first chance, the right back tried to close my right foot, so we opened more on the right side and tested my speed. On the goal I felt like I had the space to come inside and I tried to shoot."

On getting points: "Yeah I feel like 0-0 against a team like that, who are dangerous on set-pieces. We knew we had to score.

"When we scored the goal there was more space and then we had a second goal. We were relieved and happy and we know that we need goals. I am happy for Omar he has been training hard and this is about the work he has put in so I am happy for him."
