1. Praying for a better second halfpublished at 15:58 BST

    HT: Aberdeen 0-0 Kilmarnock

The half time whistle was greeted with boos from the home support, whose side have been pretty poor so far.

Aberdeen have struggled to get any sort of grip on things and have looked pretty toothless up front so far.

The 250 or so Killie fans will be relatively happy. Their team have been the better side and have created the better chances of the few that have been created.

As the break approached, this game livened up, with both sides creating opportunities. Hopefully the second half is better.

  5. HALF-TIME Dundee United 0-1 Falkirkpublished at 15:53 BST

Falkirk survive United's late first-half pressure and remain in front at Tannadice.

Jim Goodwin and Lee Sharp will be happier with the way their side ended the first half. John McGlynn has been kicking every ball in the away dugout through the first half, although he will still be the happier manager at the interval.

Will Falkirk return to the pitch like they opened the game, or will United continue their momentum at the start of the second half?

  6. HALF-TIME Rangers 1-0 Motherwellpublished at 15:52 BST

A tale of two big moments in that first half as substitute Ryan Naderi capitalised on goalkeeper Alex Paulsen's error to roll in Rangers' opener.

Then, a penalty after Tom Sparrow barged over Djeidi Gassama. Kim Min-su took, with regular taker Lawrence Shankland having been substituted, and fired wide.

Paulsen probably felt he was due a bit of good fortune after that early mistake and he's made some crucial saves since.

Djeidi Gassama has been Rangers' main attacking outlet and was one of those denied by Paulsen.

  7. Postpublished at 15:50 BST

    Dundee United 0-1 Falkirk

    Chances for United.

Firstly, Lyall Cameron's shot is deflected wide. From the resulting corner, Panutche Camara finds space in the box and tries to squeeze an effort through that goes out for another corner.

The ball drops to Cameron again and the midfielder has a dangerous strike from outside the penalty area, but goalkeeper Scott Bain saves and has to react again on the follow-up.

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:48 BST

    Rangers 1-0 Motherwell

Dujon Sterling's cross finds Djeidi Gassama and his header is brilliantly saved by Motherwell goalkeeper Alex Paulsen before Lukas Fadinger heroically clears in front of goal.

  9. HALF-TIME Aberdeen 0-0 Kilmarnockpublished at 15:48 BST

    Tony Yogane strikesImage source, SNS

Goalless at the break, but not for lack of trying. Kilmarnock have maybe just edged the play, but it's Aberdeen who have gone closer, smacking the woodwork through Tony Yogane.

Stephen Robinson is right down the touchline and into the tunnel, while Neil McCann is out on to the pitch, dishing out the encouraging back slaps.

I'd suggest the Kilmarnock boss is probably the slightly happier manager, as his side look improved from the midweek showing against St Mirren.

  10. United wake from their slumberpublished at 15:47 BST

    Dundee United 0-1 Falkirk

Well, it took them well over half an hour but there are finally signs of life from Dundee United.

Falkirk will rarely have an easier opening to a match, but the hosts have started to play some football as half-time approaches.

They'll look to do much better after the break.

Falkirk will feel worthy of their half-time lead if they can see out the next few minutes.

  11. Postpublished at 15:46 BST

    Dundee United 0-1 Falkirk

There will be a lot of attention on Dylan Tait this afternoon as he faces Falkirk.

The midfielder receives a yellow card against his former club for stopping a potential counter attack.

  12. Postpublished at 15:45 BST

    Aberdeen 0-0 Kilmarnock

Aaron Tshibola might be a lucky boy there. The midfielder hauls down Tony Yogane as Aberdeen have come forward, but advantage is played and Tom Lowery commits a foul, which he is booked for.

If referee John Beaton was feeling strict, the already-cautioned Tshibola could have been off.

  13. Postpublished at 15:45 BST

    Rangers 1-0 Motherwell

    Rangers v MotherwellImage source, SNS

What's interesting about this first half is it's much more obvious what Rangers are trying to do relative to three or four games ago. It's often just the final pass in the final third that lets them down.

Motherwell have just continued to play with the freedom of their earlier games this season and, indeed, last term. They just haven't found enough space in the penalty area as yet.

Rangers press on their left and Djeidi Gassama pulls an effort wide.

  14. Postpublished at 15:43 BST

    Aberdeen 0-0 Kilmarnock

Kilmarnock go close up the other end! This time, Greg Kiltie is slipped down the right by Joe Hugill.

The attacking midfielder drills for the bottom corner, across the goalkeeper, but Marius Muller gets a touch to tip it past the post. Good save.

  15. Postpublished at 15:42 BST

    Dundee United 0-1 Falkirk

Much better from United to end the half.

The hosts are enjoying much more of the ball, but they are just lacking that quality final ball to test Scott Bain in the Falkirk goal.

Lyall Cameron's free kick causes trouble in the box, but Zac Sapsford skews his shot wide.

  16. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:42 BST

    Aberdeen 0-0 Kilmarnock

    Aberdeen v KilmarnockImage source, SNS

The closest we've come to a goal!

Lewis Smith lays off to Tony Yogane on the left, the Dons winger cuts back onto his right and curls for the top corner, but he just doesn't get enough whip on the ball, smacking the post.

  17. Well pressurepublished at 15:41 BST

    Rangers 1-0 Motherwell

    Chance Motherwell.

Lukas Fadinger breaks into the box and his effort is blocked.

It breaks for Tawanda Maswanhise, who somehow glues the ball to his feet as he attracts three Rangers defenders and Emmanuel Fernandez concedes the corner.

In comes the delivery from Alex Lowry and Jake Girdwood-Reich volleys over.
